Dear Friends,
The health and safety of the GlassRoots community is our highest priority. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the country, I wanted to share some of the actions GlassRoots is taking to help protect our employees and students.
We are closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials around the state as this situation continue to evolve. We will continue to rely on their recommendations and expertise to inform our decisions.
GlassRoots staff has worked intensively on internal protocols, for use at this time, and, in our increasingly international space, should we ever face other similar circumstances.
We appreciate your continued support and interest,
With all best wishes,
The health and safety of the GlassRoots community is our highest priority.
- As a result, we are increasing the frequency and rigor of cleaning in our shops and offices, and implementing protocols for students to assist in sanitizing any equipment used.
- Based on the guidance we’ve received and the actions we’ve taken, GlassRoots remains open for business—as is glassroots.org. In our studios, we’re doing all we can to make sure all of our guests feel safe, comfortable and welcome.
- At this time, we are applying liberal rescheduling terms for all classes, events, and activities to provide students and customers greater flexibility in making decisions that are best for them, without incurring financial penalties.
- We have modified our paid time off policies to mitigate any loss of income for our employees — including our hourly staff — who might miss work due to illness or to care for sick family members affected by COVID-19.
We appreciate your continued support and interest,
With all best wishes,
CEO, GlassRoots
